Account & Sign-In Help

  • Sign-in methods currently include email/password, Google, and Sign in with Apple.
  • Use the password reset flow if you cannot access your email/password account.
  • Phone verification and profile completion may be required before all app features are available.
  • If Apple or Google sign-in fails, retry on a stable connection and confirm the correct account is selected.
  • If the issue continues, email support with the timestamp of your last attempt.

Profiles, Posts, and Friend Groups

  • We can help with usernames, display names, bios, profile images, and date-of-birth issues.
  • Digi-Cam supports follows, friend requests, friend groups, comments, reactions, tags, and audience-controlled posts.
  • If a post, comment, or reaction behaves unexpectedly, include screenshots and the approximate time.

Candids Events

  • Candids are timed photo events with invite links, event windows, reveal timing, and host settings.
  • Some Candid camera flows may commit photos immediately without preview or retake.
  • If joining, revealing, downloading, reporting, or deleting a Candid photo fails, include the event title, invite link if available, and approximate time.

Direct Messages & Notifications

  • Digi-Cam direct messages are participant-limited but are not end-to-end encrypted.
  • Message previews and notification previews may appear depending on your device settings.
  • Live Activities and push notifications can depend on iOS settings, network conditions, and app permissions.
  • If messages, read state, notifications, or Live Activities appear stuck, include the conversation username or event name and time of the issue.

Permissions & Discovery

  • Camera, microphone, and Photo Library access can be used for posts, messages, and Candids.
  • Apple Music access is optional for attaching music metadata to posts.
  • Contacts access, when enabled, is used to normalize phone numbers and find Digi-Cam users with verified numbers; contact names stay on-device in the current flow.
  • Notification permission is required for push alerts.

Safety & Moderation

  • Use in-app report controls on users, posts, comments, or messages.
  • Use block controls to stop direct interaction where possible.
  • Profile changes, text, images, and some videos may be reviewed by automated or manual safety workflows.
  • For urgent safety concerns, email safety@digi-cam.app with screenshots, usernames, and links if available.
  • For reports that need follow-up outside the app, email reports@digi-cam.app.

Delete Your Account

  • Open Digi-Cam and use the in-app deletion flow to submit an account deletion request.
  • Backend processing deletes the auth user and most app data cascades from core user records.
  • Some records may be retained where needed for safety, disputes, security, or legal compliance.
